Evidence, Value and Impact: the LIS Research Landscape in 2010 
The broad mission of the Library and Information Science Research Coalition is to facilitate a coordinated and strategic approach to library and information science (LIS) research across the UK. This one day conference will consider perspectives on the library and information science research landscape with reference to LIS research opportunities, the translation of research outcomes into practice, growing research capacity amongst LIS professionals, and the means of developing the future LIS research agenda in the UK. The conference format includes keynote presentations and break-out sessions, with further opportunities for delegates to participate actively in the discussions on the day. The conference will be held at the British Library Conference Centre, London.
