New Thinking on News Awareness: Technology, Content and Culture
On Tuesday, 3 December, a terrific panel of three experts, moderated and led by series producer Andrew Grave, will share their insights on the three-legged stool supporting successful news awareness projects: technology, content and culture.
We'll first hear from Shimrit Janes, author of the article "Taking a Step Back From News Aggregation Tools: What is Current Awareness?", who will focus on the human elements of successful news awareness projects. How do you gain buy-in from key stakeholders for a project that thinks "beyond aggregation" to next generation solutions? How do user needs and perspectives guide your project?
Then Charlie Davidson, CEO of Attensa, offers his perspective on the importance of understanding, selecting and maximising the right technology to support customised news awareness.
