Find out what's most relevant to information managers responsible for content purchasing, information strategy and optimising a research team, from setting aside time for strategy to service reengineering.
Your snapshot for this season
Every quarter we publish commentary on what's most relevant to the key roles we support, with a curated list of relevant content and events.
As a reminder of what we've published, below is an overview of each blog item for roles we support, from the last quarter. You can read the full item by following the links.
As part of our recent programme of enhancements, we now also run a Community session per quarter to support our three key roles. If you'd like to find out more about the enhancements, roles we support or the Jinfo subscription, book onto a live online walkthrough with our Head of Content and Community.
If you're responsible for content purchasing for your organisation, you might be considering new ways to position your expertise.
Jinfo's director of research, Robin Neidorf, takes you through the steps to thinking more holistically and finding ways to set aside time for strategy planning.
Find out how this can benefit your team just by starting on a small scale. The blog, "Jinfo for content purchasing", contains links to useful webinars and upcoming Community sessions, along with articles and reports pertinent to your role.

Optimising your research service
Following Jinfo's 2018 "State of the industry" session at the start of the year, a core theme to emerge was service reengineering. This means applying techniques to managing the way we work, and optimising them so we work at full capacity. When done right, the results have been seen first-hand and are not to be sniffed at.
It's likely your research team may not be at maximum optimisation. If this is the case then director of research Robin Neidorf's blog about reengineering techniques is a good place to start your journey to change!
Read the blog, "Jinfo for optimising your research service", to find out the basic principles for the process of reengineering, and some examples of how it's benefitted the teams Jinfo has helped.
