Reviewing another crop of scary reports on the risks of cyber attack, Tim Buckley Owen finds once again that not all the solutions are technological ones. There does seem to be a severe shortage of people with data science skills, but the range of possible attacks with which they might have to deal can be described in just nine patterns - and in any case human error remains the biggest single cause of IT disruption to business.
