[Research Focus: The information team with the right stuff]

 « All Community

Jinfo Subscription Community sessionsDescription

Our research shows that the most successful information teams possess good influencing, communication and engagement skills as well as in-depth domain knowledge.

But how do you manage and develop those members of staff who don't have those soft skills already or who don't have the will to gain them?

In this Community session, Jinfo's director of research, Robin Neidorf, will lead discussion and exercises aimed at building a well-rounded team with the right skills for overall long-term relevance and sustainability whilst giving team members the opportunity to play to their strengths.

We are delighted that Adrienne Kreger and Jennifer Evert from American Financial Group will join us to give their perspective and talk about their experiences.

Some of the specific areas we'll work on include:

  • Spotting skills in reticent information professionals
  • Balancing in-department skills with external resources... on a strict budget
  • Evolving with the needs of your environment.

Learn from the wide variety of information team configurations out there. Bring questions and an open mind; leave with fresh ideas to implement.

This Community session is open to any organisation with the Community option on their subscription. When your registration is approved, you will receive details to join the teleconference.
