In the third part of this review, we focus on the technology aspects of D&B Hoovers, a sales and marketing intelligence tool. Of particular note is its clear user interface, the wide range of output options, the vendor's support, and the options for site administrators that allow them to have a higher-level view of who, when and what is being used.
In the second part of this review of D&B Hoovers, we look at this sales intelligence solution's sources, paying particular attention to how it validates its content, company coverage of the 190 countries covered, detailed company information, news coverage, as well as its people and industry data.

We find out how new market entrant Emissary brings new insights to the sales intelligence process.
Emissary, a new entrant to the sales intelligence space, matches recently departed high-level executives with account executives to assist in account planning. Michael Levy recently spoke to its CEO and founder, David Hammer, to discuss his thinking behind the creation of the company, the importance of tacit knowledge and the role of his "emissaries".
The announcement was made in January that Dun & Bradstreet was acquiring Avention, provider of the well-known OneSource suite of services. OneSource is the flagship offering from business information company Avention, last reviewed shortly after its launch two years ago. It combines profiles of 38 million companies worldwide and contact information on 58 million people with news and industry reports.
Bureau van Dijk, global provider of highly structured company information, launched its new interface last month. Chris Porter continues his review of the new version of its Fame database, looking at coverage of financial information and news sources of companies based in the UK and Ireland.
