Amongst the titles added to Factiva.com recently were a number from the Kent Messenger Group http://www.thekmgroup.co.uk/ of newspapers. Local papers from towns such as Bexley, Bromley, Maidstone, Folkstone, and from the Isle of Sheppey are now available for inclusion in the research process. Given that town and regional newspapers have long been recognised as one of the best sources of stories that the nationals deem too unimportant or ‘local’ to cover, this adds a key source of information on the area known as the ‘Garden of England’. Other sources added to Factiva include one from Azerbaijan, three from Germany, four from Hong Kong and fifteen business, industry, and local news titles from the US. Sources on Factiva.com can be found on its website http://digbig.com/4wygk.
