Factiva is the world's leading content aggregator with an archive of over 33,000 sources in 28 languages. It delivers this content through a range of solutions, with the most well-known being Factiva.com. The company celebrated 20 years in 2019 by launching its Factiva 2020 campaign to highlight new usability enhancements with Factiva.com. Jinfo interviewed Brian Gelinas, head of product strategy, to learn more about its evolution and future plans.
Acquisdata is a business intelligence company that provides reports on key industries, companies and executives whilst its sister company, Reportal Snd Bhd, offers a company reports database which consists of full-text reports from global quoted companies. In this mini review we take a look at both offerings along with third-party information vendors who distribute the company's data, such as Dow Jones' Factiva, FactSet, IHS Markit, EBSCO, Thomson Reuters and ProQuest. We also find out who uses the product, the range of industries covered, as well as the different ways the data is packaged.
In this mini review we look at AnythingResearch, a provider of market research, industry trends, business reports and financial ratios on up to 1,300 US industry and market sectors. As well as looking at the company and product, we also look at its users and value, its content and competitors, who cover a range of domestic as well as international markets and include, Markets and Markets, Grand View Research, GlobalData, and IBISWorld.
The final part of our product review of CEIC's CDMNext, a platform that delivers economic and investment research to economists, analysts, investors, corporations, and universities around the world. We also look at some of its competitors, such as Haver, Macrobond and The Economist Intelligence Unit (The EIU), what plans the company has to expand its range of data further and its compelling range of subscription options.

CEIC offers macro and microeconomic data from global primary sources, particularly emerging economies. We last looked at the product in 2011 and decided to revisit it to find out how it's evolved. In this first part of our full product review, we look at the company and its platform, CDMNext, that delivers economic and investment research to economists, analysts, investors, corporations, and universities around the world. We also find out how the product has changed since then with the introduction of its new datasets and databases as well as some of the key advantages of the product.
In the second part of this review of D&B Hoovers, we look at this sales intelligence solution's sources, paying particular attention to how it validates its content, company coverage of the 190 countries covered, detailed company information, news coverage, as well as its people and industry data.
